Therefore please use the site as an approximate guide, and in conjunction with other resources in order to form your view on driving conditions, roads, safety etc.
The links on the pages below provide driving and car rental info for all the countries within the countries of North America (including Mexico).I’ve added seperate pages for Alaska and Hawaii, as, though they’re part of the USA, are very unique driving destinations in their own right.
In general road standards are good throughout North America, though you should expect extremes of weather in the far Northern Regions. Also, driving standards in Mexico are more akin to the nations to the South than the North!
